They are reported with different scope, but mostly call centres work for multiple clients. SCAM Claimed to be from microsoft. Told them repeatedly I had no computer and eventually they hung up.
These jokers called me today addressing me as "Mr Steven" I said where are you calling from? He said "Nationwide" I said "Really? Well then you should know that in Britain nobody is Mr first name either just use their first name or Mr with their last name". This confused my thickly accented Indian friend greatly but I think he understood me in the end.
