SCAM, claimed to be from virgin, claimed i had unauthorized IP ADDRESSES ON MY ROUTER,AS THEY HAD NOT GONE THROUGH "SECURITY" I ASKED THEM TO CONFIRM MY ACCOUNT NUMBER AND THEY HUNG UP, I HAD ABOUT 8 CALLS THIS MONTH FROM DIFFERENT NUMBERS & ALL HAD THE SAME ACCENT, AN INDIAN ASIAN ACCENT, THOSE THAT HUNG AROUND TO TALK HUNG UP WHEN QUESTIONED.

SCAM Had a call from this number 8.45 Saturday morning. Started off saying calling from Virgin media and that my broadband connection was not working properly a d she was going to boost it. Been getting calls from this number a lot recently,i answer the phone and the line goes dead each time.

Phoned from call center, (I think they were the magazine sellers), they offered me 3 magazines for a good price & said I could pay over the phone. They were very nice at 1st & careful to explain how they wanted my bank details, (not a debit/credit card) & that that is safe, (I discovered that it's true), but they were very, very, insistent, determined & wouldn't take no for an answer!
