I went onto GoCompare, MoneySupermarket and CompareTheMarket websites yesterday for insurance quotes and had to declare a fire claim on the online data entry. Obviously this has been recorded as a non-fault claim and one of those three site has sold my contact information to these monkeys. Sounded like a scouse lad on the phone when they called me, calling himself "Thomas". TAXES / HMRC Slightly odd I was informed by an automated voice that I was accused of a tax fraud. I had to press 1 or else a warrant for my arrest would be issued!!! I pressed 1 Automated American voice told me my call was important and to hold the line. After a couple of minutes I was through to a customer service assistant who asked for my name. He then brought up my file (his words) and needed to confirm my home address. I told him I am currently out of the country and he hung up?!
ITS A SCAM Financial Company who left me a voicemail without my phone ringing, suggest you don t answer calls from this number

This number will ask you to press 1 claiming to be from HMRC tax office and threaten you will arrest warrant. HMRC will never do such a thing without a letter by post. DO not fall for this as consequences could be risky.
