Usual PPI / car accident / similar sort of claim cold call. Blocked number. These people must be utterly shameless. I couldn t sit at a desk with a headset on being told to get lost (or worse) 100 s of times a day. Still, it s a job I suppose but I d rather be unemployed than lower myself to this sort of thing!

I m receiving calls from Red Star Financial Management on a weekly basis now. Often twice a week. It s the usual robocalls: My phone rings (either my landline of my smartphone), I answer it, a recorded voice comes on to say, "Please wait while an adviser attends your call", and most times some poor young loser introducing him or herself from Red Star Financial Management asks questions about a bank loan I may have taken out in the 17th century. SCAM This number phoned me yesterday, 15th December 2020 at 4.25 pm. Recorded voice saying there is suspicious activity hacking into your Internet and to press 1 to speak to our executive to have it fixed or it will be disconnected at 6pm. Needless to say this is definitely a scam and hoax as everything is completely ok. If this had been an elderly person getting a call like this they would be so worried and would press 1 and pay money. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM AND YOU SHOULD HANG UP AND BLOCK THE NUMBER!!
