Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. Just got call from this person spoke with english accent asked about car I was selling on gumtree only posted seconds before phone call then asked about accidents and I hung up had two calls this week off same number one before got straight to the point asking about an accident i had. I ve never had one in my life I challenged him and he hung up. My guess there getting numbers off gumtree ads for cars. Number now blocked.

Claimed they from smart insurance & company changed from original. They knew lots of info about insurance. Asked for acc details, put phone down and immediately rang my appliance insurance company and they said they havent been taken over by smart insurance. I felt relieved that i hadnt given out my bank details but its shocking how lnowledgeable they were and the information they currency had on it. Blocked immediately. Pls beware and be careful.
