Got a call today from a foreign woman claiming to be from "Consumer Lifestyles" asking me to do a survey on my "lifestyle" ie shopping habits, likes and dislikes, all the usual crap to illicit personal details from you and even how to stop unwanted calls!! Boy, did I laugh especially when I said "Like the one your giving me now!" Text message from this number saying there was a suspicious log in on my PayPal account from a month ago. Gave me a random website, which was not PayPal, that I had to go to immediately to reset my account. Deleted the text and blocked the number

I got a call from this number regarding PPI. I told the caller I wasnt interested & put the phone down. He then RANG ME BACK & demanded to know why Id hung up on him when I hadnt heard what he had to say. I told him I still wasnt interested but he persisted so I just kept saying ovet & over Im not interested until he lost his temper & hung up. Victory for me!!!

Said that because they’d refunded an overpayment that my account may show in arrears and I may receive an automated letter due to this error. They will remove it but wanted to let me know that they may not be able to stop the letter. If they’re making this many calls for this reason they should probably just have sent an email to everyone!

Fake "Excellent Life" opinion poll, asking personal questions that can be used to target you in future. I have had many calls with this excuse, all displaying different fake UK caller numbers.

SCAM. This number came through as a text and purports to be a dhl non-delivery notice with a link. The link takes you to a ‘google prize lottery’ which I didn’t bother to take further, but it’s obviously nothing to do with DHL. Have marked it as annoying and have blocked the number.
Unsolicited, left no message, and I don t know anyone in Kettering. Blocked because true caller can write or email me. nHad a couple of these most days.
Young guy called my mums home number (she s in her 70 s) and said that she had over paid money in to her bank and they needed to refund it and started asking for date of birth so she hung up. Be very careful with company! Avoid speaking to them!!!!

01244 521272 rang and a male with a foreign accent said hello my name is Michael calling from Technical Solutions Dept I told him I should not be receiving cold calls but he was talking over me so I disconnected the call. When I checked the number showing on my landline screen it flashed between International and 01244 521272 of which one is a code close to me and the number was the same as a company I have had recent dealings with which has a different area code. Very strange probably a scam.

"Industrial Workers Union" scam from Derby had been ringing me daily for around three weeks. Finally gave in to temptation and picked up. "We re totally legit" and "a government body" the man said. Basically boiled down to cold calling people on a tradesman database looking to get money out of past employers for supposed hearing loss. These people are the scum of the earth and the reason this country is going down the tubes. Get a real job before it s too late! Don t trust anyone that asks for more details
