A scam call from “ Inside Revenue” trying to glean tax information. The foreign sounding man said he could help with claiming the marriage allowance! I told him that as I worked for HMRC anyone who claims the marriage allowance simply has to tick a box on their tax return and there is no need for any interference from a company calling themselves “Inside Revenue”. My advice is give no information and block the number.

Very rude PPI hawking woman who when I asked where she had obtained my data from, would not answer properly, saying I must have ticked a box asking them to contact me. I suggested that under the new GDPR coming in this would be illegal as I will have a right to know how my data is being used and where it is coming from and how it is being stored etc. She said this is not true, and I was not listening properly... :(

This number has been calling me for over a week now, every single day at least 5 times a day, even though I keep blocking the number. I got so angry at them keep ringing and I picked the call up started to speak and they hanged up, each time no voicemails were ever left. See previous comment. These Jingly bar stewards just call a slightly different number making the BT call blocker a complete and utter waste of timer. BT are just a bunch of fraudsters as well and will do nothing to prevent these nuisance calls as are the Government and Offcom. Another valid point is that when someone states on their merchandise "STOPS UP TO 99% OF NUSIANCE CALLS" I would suggest that 1% is up to 99% and they should be prosecuted under the Trades Description Act.
