They ve called a couple of times now ...always asking for Paul Mulligan. Have told then i don t know anyone of that name. Seem polite enough though and calling from Scotland
Fraud - I was called off one number trying to get a security code that would reset my O2 account. when I refused to give the one time code to the lady she got aggressive. I said I would check with O2 customer service and if everything was ok would take up the offer. I was given this number as O2 customer services - IT IS NOT. I reported to O2 (202) and they confirmed that this was Fraud, and if I gave them the code they would have had access to my O2 account.
someone please call this number back and play a game on them as revenge! these are probably telemarketing or collection numbers, DO NOT ANSWER! DON T GIVE IN TO THEIR TRICKS OF MAKING RANDOM CALLS AND THEN HOPING THAT 1%-5% OF THE ONES THAT ANSWER DO FALL FOR THEIR TRICKS. Called my elderly mother who thank goodness contacted me before ringing them back. Said the same as above. ?8,000 for being a good citizen, all they needed was her bank details. I m furious. Reported to fraud squad.
We have been called twice by this number. It is a digitally-generated message, not a human, stating that it is from HMRC and that an arrest warrant has been generated. The call was closed by our answering machine before it could be completed. There was the start of a list of options. My 10 year old answered the phone and was extremely worried that the police were going to be on our doorstep. I'm sure that it's a scam...at least I hope so.

This was actually just an automated BT text-to-landline service telling me the time slot for my Costco parcel delivery that I was expecting, so this was completely legit for me. It will try ringing you several times until you listen to the text message so just listen and it will stop. However, as it's a generic BT service it is open to abuse but I would advise against blocking it because the message delivery service itself is not a scam, just be aware though that the message you receive could be bogus.
