They claimed to be from my bank (VM money was Yorkshre Bank) to ask me about potential fraud on my card. (£52 on Argos in Aberdeen) I was supicious when they got agressive when I didn't know my banking paswword and I said I would have to call them back. I called the fraud number I have in my phone (0800 121 4251) and they confirmed it wasn't them that called me before. The chap on the actual fraud line also said that the real bank won't ask for any part of or all your internet banking password EVER!

They put me through to a technician and they started getting a bit angry with me as I could not understand what they were saying because of their accent. SCAM Called my landline at 15.01 on 1 June - female voice saying something like "I am the supervisor for this area "and something about an attic ... I asked her to slow down as I could not hear her properly - she went on talking very quickly and when I said "Stop and tell me what you are talking about" She then seemed to bang the phone down.

Caller stated they were from virgin media and there was corruption on my router, they stated they would disconnect my internet due to the corruption if i didnt let them help me fix it. I have since called virgin media who confirms they have not called me
