I was unable to answer the call from this number because my screen was playing up. It did not light up in any way so I couldn't see how to answer or anything. A few minutes later I needed to make a call so I spent some time getting the screen to light up in order to dial out. Surprisingly this number was still calling me. 01267279578 Beware it's a scam! It's a phising phone call, spoofing a local phone number, usually made by a computer. DON'T SPEAK if you don't recognise the number - JUST LISTEN, wait for them to speak first. If the caller just hangs up or only a crackling noise is heard and then hangs up, then congratulations you've just escaped being scammed. Well done!

Received a phone call from this number this morning at 10.39am. When I lifted the receiver there was some garbled noise then a single tone and the number rang off. Hard to say whether or not this is a 'dangerous' number but need to be careful. Not good when no-one speaks.

If you get a quote from Compare the Market or Money Supermarket, they are in partnership with Life Search who deal with the enquiries, not a scam in any way shape or form, amazes me how quickly people shout SCAM! – I actually got a great deal from them, they were very professional and cheaper then most.

Cynical call, a day after receiving a SSE dividend, an unsolicited call from the USA about my share holding. An Indian sounding person, in a call centre, who had to asked on whose behalf he was calling. Then said it was some form of financial company. As if one would talk about your shares to an unknown person, acting for an off-shore company. Initially he was trying to make me believe he was connected to SSE.

SPAM/SCAM Over the last 4 days have had 2 calls a day from the same Manchester auto caller, just the last 3 numbers changed each call. Shows it’s from the same caller system. Have called back at the start of it but goes to electronic sound. Advice toy you if you see these numbers 01615202… then don’t answer and block it.

Automated call - voice said i have now been charged £500 to my credit card for an Iphone which i dont like or use. Calling the number back and it is not possible to connect the call.
My number on contract with o2 taken over by fraudster. O2 cancelled the number but it has been used in attempts to access my credit cards. Also possibly being used as a debit card app. number. Police and Action Fraud are aware.

SPAM Total Review - life insurance company. Caller definitely had a "British" accent (though I know there isn't just one - he was definitely a native English speaker though) but really didn't annunciate when he was speaking so I struggled to understand him. He backtracked several times when I called him out on what he was saying. Was rude, dismissive and persistent despite me keeping saying I was not interested in talking with him about my life insurance - all in all a pretty horrible experience
