Does relate to an account setup. It s a company relates to crypto and it s a courtesy call. Caller is actually in Cyprus not London Dodgy number but thanks BT for allowing such things legal but misleading. Call genuine.

Pester call claiming I have had accident and several thousand pounds is waiting to be deposited in my bank.
This number rang three times today and a missed call from previous. No message left on missed call and when I answered the others there was a noise in the background like an office and then cut off.
SCAM - claims to be a financial service who I supplied my number for. Hung up but have been getting calls from a mobile number following this stating it is the National Crime Agency. Really dodgy, avoid.

This number has appeared on our answerphone but they did not leave any message. After this lookup I have blocked the number as it looks like another case of blocks of telephone numbers being sold offto con men. This number traced back to be from Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh in India. I really wish whoever allows these call centres, confidence tricksters and plain old Criminals to purchase these blocks of numbers could be reprimanded and even charged with aiding and abetting whatever crime they are used for. This number calls a LOT especially as I have asked twice to be removed from their database. Excel services wanting to service a dyson we do not have. Just had a call today, VERY rude girl. I told her we had already asked to be taken off the database, we don t have a dyson. She said that s why she s got us down as non-dyson. So they can make a note of that bit but not the fact that we re not interested?! I ended up hanging up, she was just so unpleasant.
