From background noise it was a call centre, but after a short time they hung up without speaking.

Seems to be a scam relating to premium bank accounts

Just received a call from this number which said I had a text message but the message was garbled. Phoned our friend who was in a London hospital thinking it was him and he had sent by accident a text message to our landline which resulted in this call. It must be the message service operated by BT but doesn t appear to work very well.

NEVER give ANY information to a caller, no matter how convincing they sound. Tell 'em to **** OFF! They'll get the idea . . .

This number called me at 10.36am on Monday 5th April. They claimed to be Microsoft and advised me that my computer id had been hacked and illegal activities were being carried ...

Muffled + distorted male asking for my wife by name. Kept talking too fast despite several requests then demands to slow down. Told him to go away. Said he d call back.

Been having these people call non stop twice a day! I have blocked over 15 numbers which they use since they bombard me with texts and voicemails asking for a Victoria - The funny things is that I m male and I don t know a Victoria! I have told these people to stop calling me and that they have the wrong number. Don t worry a lawsuit will soon be in place for harassment since I have recordings of all communications.

Called 28/5/19, female automated voice claimimg to be HMRC with what sounded like a MALE name, threatening legal action if not contacted on given number.

Claims that I am owed money from the banks, apparently I'm on a 'secured database' of people who are owed money!! Scam artists!

This is a company called Ace U.K they are cold callers for an accident claims company who have information that you have been involved in a crash in the last 3 years.

Was called by this company re a minor RTA I had a few months ago and was told there was a pot of money waiting for me if I proceeded with a personal injury claim. I told him it had all been dealt with and I was satisfied but he did not want to take no for an answer and persisted in telling me I would be foolish not to make a claim. Caller phoned saying they had information about an accident I had. When told I had no accident and they should not call again, she hung up. I ve now added number on my black list and sent them an SMS.

HMRC scammer

Caller claimed they were calling because my Beko washing machine warranty had expired. I don t have a Beko washing machine. I gave this incorrect information to a unwanted cold call last week (Indian caller, UK Preference, claiming they were doing a survey). They have obviously passed my details to this company.
