SCAM. Initial silence then a voice saying that like most people in the last 10 to 20 years I probably had fibreglass loft insulation on a government scheme and now had damp and mould. He wanted to arrange a loft survey. I said I had no loft insulation and could check my own loft but he carried on. When I asked, he said he worked for “...the Insulation Advisory Line in Reading.” When I queried who had asked them to undertake a survey the call ended. This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Similar number is used by the Bauer Media company.

Gave name as John Abrahams from BT who said my broadband connection was being compromised and I needed to log on to find out who the hackers were. I asked for their number to call back and they gave me this one. When I called it was answered with 'Hello, this is BT' Call originally came from 02089030400 which didn't pick up when I called.
