It rings and there's no answer, annoying

I had an earlier call from an 01550 number which I answered as it is my local dialling code. It was a marketing company. I asked the man to remove my name from his records. He said he would. I have now received another call from a slightly different number (same dialling code). I didn't answer this time. Both numbers come back to the same company. Both numbers now blocked!

SCAM / SPAM Scam call claiming to be calling from Sky, telling me to switch my computer on as there is a problem with my internet. Told her I'm not a Sky customer and my internet is working fine, then I hung up. Obviously a scam to try and access people's devices and details for nefarious purposes.

This call centre deals mostly with Ambulance Chasers - road traffic accident, PPI - insurance claims management, the company is mostly reported as National accident bureau or AAB Legal.

Have had so many silent calls from this number that I don't answer them any more.

Maria Wilson from BT Openreach, telling me my IP address has changed from private to public. Very insistent that I was in high danger. Told me she was calling from Hammersmith, London - on a Cardiff number?? Obviously a scam, knew that from the word go but kept stringing her along for 10 mins before I put the phone down on her.

Called me just now and claimed to be 'Jane from the NHS', in relation to the covid-19 pandemic and the need to update emergency medical records. I replied that the NHS would not do such a thing, and they immediately hung up.

This number is Scottish power trying to sell their gas and electric!

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back.

just had call from this company, I asked the company name, I think the guy said Accident Claims Expert, it was difficult to understand the name due to his accent and poor line quality. I told him I was going to sue them for cold calling. He said their database indicated I had been involved in an accident. Total lies

A lady claiming she was from century finance saying my loan application had been accepted and I paid the 75 pounds to them then when paid they said money would be in by 2:20 this afternoon and was never in when I rang back to get my money back. We had a call from "Virgin Media" to say there was a fault with our new router which was replaced last week. I was only half awake so went through quite a process before I twigged - how did they know we had just had a new router fitted - it was the fact they new that which made me think it was real. Someone is working for Virgin who must be giving this information and telephone number
