John from The Driveway Centre! Offered 25% discount with no obligation quote valid for 12 months! Really?! Even tried to arrange an appointment. Who is this guy and what's his motive for ringing people up?
Got a text saying: We have been tring to contact you regarding your accident, we now have details of how much you are due, just reply CLAIM and we will post you a pack out Obvious scam.
They call from this number twice a day under the guise of different company names - Direct Utilities, Business Utilities, Select Utilities, Regional Utilities. They are clearly dumb, because when requested to remove our details from their records and stop calling, they say OK and then don t do it, despite being told the we only have a mailing box address and therefore have no need for utilities. Go back to school, children!
Called by this number today, said from Labour Party, questioned about why I joined as a registered supporter of Labour Party, was I a member of another organisation etc. I really took exception having to declare whether I voted labour in the last general election; irrespective of whether I did or not, that s my business! Had a Call from this number regarding Electrical system Insurance. When I said that I already had it, the female caller responded that it was with them, and because I had not claimed for three years they we going to reduce it from the current £180.00. I immediately knew it must be a scam, so I pressed the 'Block now' Button on my call Blocker.

Hi I worked for this company. They buy your details from either the blackmarket or datasets where you have opted in. So if you bought something somewhere online that required your number chances are you inadvertently opted in. They use a network of local numbers to seem reputable. The liverpool branch specialises in road traffic accident. They ll fish about for details asking you that they were informed a car accident was reported by your household within the last 2.5-3 years. Calls from number 01215257983 are a scam. The person pretends to be from B.T. and says there is a problem with your internet speed and wants you to run some tests on your laptop. Unfortunately for him my Internet Service Provider is not B.T. and I am also an electronics engineer, so when I started to ask him technical questions he became very, very, abusive and hung up. This number is now blocked on my phone and I would suggest others do so.

Sounded like an Asian call centre. The callers voice was faint and I cold not understand what they wanted. Since this is a mobile number and the caller appeared to be in a call centre I consider it suspect.
