The reason behind this phone call is to inform you that your National Insurance number will be terminated due to some unethical financial transactions.” The recording then asks the recipient to “please press ‘1’ to get more details.” Which of course I did not
Called with message alleged from amazon saying my iPhone 7 costing £350 is on its way and my card had been charged and if it wasn't me press 1. Obviously a scam!

Said they were calling to offer free inspection of loft insulation because the Government has designated some of the old stuff as "irritant". I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. Caller asked for someone else who lives in the house by name - after teh ususal telemarketing pause of silence..... When I explained they were not in and asked if I could take a message, the caller sounded annoyed that the person he called for was not in, and then HE HUNG UP. . Cold caller? Telemarketer? Rude - yes!
Had numerous calls from this number today alone I have had three calls up to now and its only 2.30 in the afternoon the only one I took they wanted me to do some kind of survey ...

DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. Have checked all phone records to see if any charges have come through but none as yet, but am unaware if the included minutes have covered this somehow. BLOCK & REPORT.
