SCAM Only one person calls me on my landlinge and that's my brother but somehow it seems to have been circulated to scammers and/or on the dark web. This number called on my landline (getting lots from lots of false numbers for months now) and it was a silent call. I called it from my mobile (number withheld) and it wasn't a recognised number. Received a phone call from this number this morning at 10.39am. When I lifted the receiver there was some garbled noise then a single tone and the number rang off. Hard to say whether or not this is a 'dangerous' number but need to be careful. Not good when no-one speaks.

Indian accent with British name stating he is calling from O2, then said he noticed I'm not O2 and asked how much I pay and said that he could give me a £6 per month deal. Then I said I'm on Pay as you go and only top-up £5 per year he called me a fool, said I was making him a fool and asked if I'm on my father or mother's company. Called from Citizens advice group. I questioned the male caller with a south Asian accent in some detail. He was very helpful. They were calling about debts and he asked what debts we had. I asked him where they got our number and he replied FCA ????????????. I then asked him for the person or department name as I have previously worked with FCA in the past, he didn’t give it to me. He was very polite and said he couldn’t continue. He also said they weren’t authorised in the UK!
