SCAM!! This is a really dumb, badly worded post office delivery scam, written by someone who seems to have the literary skills of a housebrick.
SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. Call your card provider and ask for a new card if this

FRAUD ‘phone call from +44 2083684454 (This call originates from a bit of pavement in Trafalgar Square, Central London!) It’s a scam telling you of an “unauthorised” VISA payment on your account. (Even if you don’t have a VISA account! It encourages you to press 1 to speak to an adviser (someone will answer but however reassuring they are they DON’T work for VISA. They will keep you on the line while they empty your bank account after which, you’ll have lost all your money to them! DON’T press 1! Hang

I have the TruCaller App (Free version) it notifies you of scams, etc before you answer. I will be using this on my new phone, it s a great little App and instantly told me this was a PPI scam. I recommend this App to anyone, and I blocked this number straight away. All numbers TruCaller checks against a huge database of Blaclisted phone numbers.

Really nasty, threatening scam from this number. The message said HMRC had a tax fraud case listed against my name and I should press 1 to connect to the HMRC investigating officer to discuss the case. It then went on to say that if I didn't I would be arrested for tax fraud - I knew it was not true but some people could be really scared and stressed by this horrible scam.

12 calls in the last 24 hours from this number. Answered first call and was told they were to do with PPI, I immediately asked to be removed from calling list caller then became rude and abusive. No further calls answered, this seems to not deter them at all, and is bordering on criminal harassment.

He is located in the UK but lists his location as Ralphs Ranch, San Francisco, California. He calls himself the Master of the Game - in stealing your money as a professional trader in financial services. Scam didn't answer but got a voice mail notification.. Voice mail recorded just a few seconds of a badly prerecorded voice and all I got was *before we proceed with legal action* definitely not right..
These people are a bloody nuisance.what I do is answer and put the phone up to the radio.
