I answered and there is a delay for 2 seconds before the automated message starts telling you to urgently press option 5 to claim your PPI. I hung up, there was no way I was pressing option 5 and probably getting charge ?1,000 a minute!!

Said he was from BT and they are about to disconnect my internet because I had apparently downloaded such bad viruses that it was affecting their network, lol. He said he can show me on my computer. I asked him to give me my BT account number. He started to get agitated and said he cannot do that over the phone. So I asked him to tell me my address and he said F*** you and hung up.

Register with TPS to de register your number.

This number has called 5 times today ...Each time there is nothing ...then an automated woman's voice says goodbye after about 60 seconds ...Most annoying.

Rang early morning and hung up. Rang again later, had my name and an old address, they want to update their records !

This is a scam. Say they are Microsoft Excel and that your computer has alerted them that illeagal and dangerous material is being downloaded onto your computer!

Hung up as soon as I answered. Not calling back.

This call is from NTT Fundraising based in Bristol BS1 2NB. You should report them to the TPS (I have), especially if your number is registered with the TPS. The more people do it, the more likely the TPS will actually pay attention. I caused EMCAS (ambulance chasers) based in Torquay some grief by submitting a complaint to the TPS

This number is from ITV. It will be about participating in a TV show.

Voicemail message left from this number saying it is not a sales call and to call them back. Company stated was BRB? Googled number/name and nothing came up so totally ignored.

It is a scam and we did transfer money but stopped order..all the amounts are for just over 2k paid into our account and we transferred just under 2k back into their bank. you ll see the money go into your account then they re desperate for you to pay the overpaid balance, they then cancel the dodgy cheaque within 2 days...Don t do it, the tel number is bogus and so is the address...
