Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. I am confused by this. I recently received a call from this number about an annual service booking; the woman at the other end knew my name but wanted me to confirm my address and postcode, which I did. I agreed to a suggested date and time, and she tells me that I will be getting a call on the day to confirm. I then receive a text to confirm the appointment, and directions to the BG website to cancel or amend. Logging onto the website, I can see that there is indeed an appointment booked in my

Got a call from a "With-held" number, then minutes later got a call from the same company on this number saying "You have been selected to receive a discount..." I didn t let them get any further. These types of sales tactics are the lowest of the low methods of marketing and sales especially as my telephone number is registered with telephone preference!
