Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. Automated call to start, saying that my subscription to Amazon will auto renew at £79, and to press 1 to talk to someone about cancelling, I don't pay subscription for Amazon, I was told that it was £79 a month and that I needed to get a cancellation code and fill out a form to cancel!!! I hung up.

There was a suspicious pause & silence (auto-dialler?) when I answered and then the call was disconnected.
