SCAM Started with an automated message informing me that two transactions have taken place on a Visa debit card for varying amounts. Press "1" to approve, press "2" if I dont know. Pressed 2 out of curiosity and was transferred to a man asking for the reason of the call. I repeat the message I received and he then repeats the transaction amounts (obviously reading from a script). Asked him which bank this account was associated with (which he obviously doesn't know). FRAUD - Received an email spoofing my boss, asking me to text this number (and presumably get asked to pass them key information/passwords).

Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. I ended call without proceeding but want others to watch out for such calls as the ber search brought up nothing in terms of an organisation

I think this is a boiler room operation, touting for investment. Even after you tell them where to get off, they still call back many times. A boiler room operation is one which hypes "investments" which probably don t exist and you lose your money. Worryingly they knew my name.

They phone every three months or so but are quite happy to be told we don t need any wine right now and be given a date to phone again. To call TPS reg number is against the law. Asked to speak with his manager Oliver who did not seem concerned.
