Called with message about unauthorized payment from my debit card, if it wasn't you press 1. I did out of interest. Spoke with a man with Indian accent. He knew my name and surname which is highly unnerving. He said a payment of £900 and something pounds had been taken from my debit card. I replied "oh no, it wasn't me, can you help me?". He said yes, he needed some information. I asked which bank debit card? He said Amazon then hung up. Seriously!

As soon as I said I don't give my details over the phone and asked them to write to me they disconnected the call immediately!!! An obvious con. I called them back and they answered the phone as Red Star. I've blocked them.

This automated service calls my number approx.once or twice a week. The call asks for a named person who I never heard of and requests a call back. After I hang-up I have noticed when I then lift my phone to use Iam still connected to this number. I dont no how to stop this caller.

A phishing call, the caller had a little information, but was phishing for more. I ve been informed that limited accident is publihed on a database by insurers. I Presume they are phishing in order to action a claim. Personally I beleive these people are leeches, feeding off, and promoting the greed is good culture. The caller will tell you that he is trying to help you, he isn t - he s helping himself. Any positive response is like catnip to these people, even if you tell them you are not interested

I asked for their number to call back and they gave me this one. When I called it was answered with 'Hello, this is BT' Call originally came from 02089030400 which didn't pick up when I called.

Indian man rang me at about 10:30am 26/7/2021 saying that they'd just been upgrading my Broadband and noticed spam being sent to me and hacker activity. Wanted me to turn on my computer. I put the phone down. Have fallen for one of these scams before with someone getting me to download AnyDesk in order for the caller to remotely take over control of my laptop. BEWARE!!
