Called this number back & she claimed to be from HMRC who apparently have served me with two warrants around miscalculation of Tax. They apparently called at my home on two occasions during lockdown when I was home and not allowed to leave me house. She was very plausible, giving me a name, badge number and warrant ref numbers. Before I got involved they had asked her to install TeamViewer on her phone to "help her connect to the Amazon security system". Tried to pretend he was my son via text message asked me if I could make some payments as bank was frozen and he was stressed out. The grammar and punctuation told me it wasn’t my son as he never uses punctuation. Very dodgy My son and myself are in the UK the map shows this number is Russian origin. Beware

Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). He seemed to be reading from a script and looking up the answers, as there were long gaps between my asking a question and his reply. I told him I was going to hang up and did so.
