SCAM Call from Sky technician department! Strong Asian accent. There is a problem with my broadband router. Not with and never have been with sky. Wanted me to load an app on my phone so she could show me what the issue was with the router. Not happening I said. Got accused of arguing with her. Managed to waste 8 minutes of her time before hanging up and blocking.

Phoned from call center, (I think they were the magazine sellers), they offered me 3 magazines for a good price & said I could pay over the phone. They were very nice at 1st & careful to explain how they wanted my bank details, (not a debit/credit card) & that that is safe, (I discovered that it's true), but they were very, very, insistent, determined & wouldn't take no for an answer! This number comes up as being from Nottingham (13 Derby Street) along with the number 01159810434, who also rang today. Again answered , nobody talks and they then hang up. Highly suspect these are scam calls, at the very least they are annoying.

You get robocalls until you pick up from one Bournemouth number, then the next day you get your "local" energy adviser calling you - just got rid at that point so unsure whether a scam, but certainly unsolicited, and since my number is in the TPS database for not getting unsolicited calls, you can bet your life it's a dodgy company not bothered about following the law or regulations.

Called me saying they had information I had been in a car accident. I asked who had informed them and she disregarded my question to ask her own. I then stated that if she couldn t answer the question then we couldn t speak further, so she hung up. I hope she sleeps well at night knowing that her entire platform of employment is based upon being a nuisance.
