Reckons they have a cheque for £3100 which they say is PPI I wrongly paid on a loan, a local delivery man would deliver the cheque and when it is cleared and the money is in my account he will call again to collect Paysafe Vouchers for £225 which I have to buy and show to the cheque deliverer before he will hand over the cheque. At 1050 30 October 2013 I received a call from a male calling himself "Keith" saying he was from Santander Bank and he wanted to talk to me about my account. He said he wanted to run through some security checks with me at which I said that I was not prepared to give any personal information on a "cold call" because, I told him, I was very suspicious. He said that was fine and could I call back on 0845 603 9035 which was open until 1900 hours. I said I would check things out and call him back. I immediately

Number calls repeatedly. When calling back to complain you get a recorded message saying you can opt out by pressing 9 on your keypad but they still try and ring you!
Almost certainly a scam, as only one digit different from 01865 679005 already reported on here.

had several calls telling me I have spoken to them before about fx trading - never something I would consider as I m far too busy to learn all about that!
SCAM - claim to be from HMRC and there is tax fraud in the name of the person who answers the phone.
Unknown caller tried several times
He offered to renew my van insurance, at a lower cost. My van insurance was not due for renewal yet he had a lot of details about me. However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. This guy said he was from vancompare who I have actually used before. Quite confusing but almost certainly a scam. The guy was South African
