Its about time the TPS in this country gained real power like the US, over there if a company calls after being told not, they have to pay a fixed penalty to the homeowner. In this country it seems the TpS is totally ignored!

SCAM - Left message about being Fraud Department at HMRC. (Should have listened to VM first!) Called back and odd ring like overseas dialtone, answered immediately by an indian sounding man who said he was inspector someone from HMRC fraud and criminal investigations dept, he asked for my name and address and kept me on hold. when I questioned what dept again he read off a London address, and said "In the UK" Hung up immediately. Probably cost me a fortune! PEST AND SCAMMERS, STAY AWAY!!
I was asked about my pension history and whether I had a PIP. If I did the government have announced that I should be able to reclaim over-charging, particularly if my pension pot was more than £10,000. I asked for details of their website and she gave me theirs where there is no reference to this. Also mention gov.co.uk (which is obviously gov.uk) and I can find no reference to what she said. Also nothing on Moneysaving Expert, my go-to place for this type of thing.

I have blocked over 15 numbers which they use since they bombard me with texts and voicemails asking for a Victoria - The funny things is that I m male and I don t know a Victoria! Company called to say I needed to renew the insurance for my sky equipment but I don t have sky, I think this is probably some sort of scam.
Answered once and its about PPI. Told them I was not interested and he slammed the phone down. Then I got 12 calls from them in 3 days. If I answer again I just don t say anything and see how long it takes them to put the phone down.

Called about loft insulation. Said if was not a “selling” call it was a survey carried out to see if insulation was to standard. Then went on to say she Kew it was not to current standards but still denied it was a sales call. When I asked her to cut to the chase and not blindly following a script.
