Fraud Got a phone call from this number. I answered the call and nobody answered for about 20 seconds. Then a very thick Indian accent said "Hello, this is Jenny from BT Openreach.....". I replied "No your not...your a scammer" and hung up. I know and live in this dialing code and there are no BT Openreach offices in this area. Given the accent and that it is BT Openreach (which I don't even use) I suspect this is an Indian based scam call centre.

Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. Young woman claiming to be running a survey on behalf of the NHS. Seemed reasonable at first but then wanted more private details. Once she knew I was a pensioner, she started calling me 'Sweety' and 'Darling'. At that point her unprofessionalism made it likely that this was a scam.
