Very strange automatic call. Lady said she is from my internet banking and they just blocked an outgoing of £600 to oversees bank account from my bank account. I ended the call straightaway.

Telemarketing Very insistent lady who said she was from “Expert Savers” who wanted me to answer questions. I asked her to remove my number from her list as I do not want this type of call. She kept on trying to engage me in her questions and I had to hang up. Number blocked.

I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! I told her I had NOT received any money and to remove me from database. She started to speak I cut her short and said these calls should be removed remove me immediately and hung up. SCAM - pre-recorded american accent claiming to be from HMRC
SCAM sounded like a genuine call from Virgin Media about internet problems. Said their server had been receiving errors from my hub. Suspicious when they started asking me what apps I ran on my phone. Even more suspicious when they wanted me to download remote control software so they 'could show me the problem ' Noticeable change in tone when I said I was an IT professional. Hung up the phone and called Virgin who confirmed they'd never ask someone to download software.
