Call center. Caller said they were from 3 network, offering me a new phone contract. They finally hung up on me after a few minutes of me pretending not to know things about phones.
I got an email from PayPal, saying I purchased a cell phone & that payment is now due. I called the number on the invoice from PayPal, a man with a thick indian accent answered & struggled to speak good English to explain himself. He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! I believe this to be a banking scam as the automated called said they were from Bank Security - but no bank name given. They told me that a charge for £700 had been made by Amazon (I no longer have an account there) and an international charge of £2,000. I was asked to press a number to speak to security!!!
This was a recording saying that £800 had been taken from my credit card by an American Gambling Company. At this point I hung up as I don’t have a visa credit card. THIS IS A SCAM?
A robocall which suggested that I’ve been sent many letters by HMRC and am about to be prosecuted. None of it is true so it must be a scam!

Fraud - sms message claiing your EVRI delivery has had to be redifected to the local depot then gives a link with an address that is spelt wrongly - EVRII.com - so clearly a SCAM. AVOID.

The caller who had a Chinese accent said they were calling from 3 Mobile to sell me a new i phone or Samsung mobile, or alternatively all inclusive minutes for £6.00 for a SIM only deal and asked me what I was spending each month now. I am with 3 Mobile so I didn't feel inclined to give them that information and hung up.

Received a call from 07520648939, claimed to be from a finance/stock market company- very strong foreign accent. Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. Fraud - the number is linked to a Norton antivirus SCAM. The number wants to connect to your laptop / computer. This is a SCAM.
This number is a scam number - phoning about My MS computer, which I don't have. As soon as I challenged she hung up. The accent was foreign, but using common English forename- it is 100% a scam line.
