The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. These are a company who are trying to enforce time lapsed statute barred debts I answer the phone and don t speak then it costs them money also if you don t end the call they cannot phone out again until you do they soon stop calling

Had a call at approximately 11.10pm that sounded fraudulent. Have a close relative in hospital with a severe heart condition so have been waiting by the phone for urgent news of their status. We have never had a call of this nature on our landline or at this hour and due to the circumstances it has caused enormous and unnecessary distress. Overwhelmed as i write this.
