SCAM call received today saying that I have a current life insurance policy and that some details have changed so can I give them my DOB not a cat in hells chance. I refused and DANIEL, which I doubt very much was his real name from his accent, then put the phone down on me

Unsure but a recorded voice will tell you that there is a serious case against you and that you must respond otherwise you will get your National Insurance cancelled. I suggest you hang up immediately and block the number.

He said he was working for Amazon and needed to track down who had ordered 2 mobile phones from Amazon using my bank details (which he had) but had arranged to be delivered to an address that was not mine. To do this he wanted me to go into my bank app and arrange a transfer of £5000 to an account for which he provided and which my bank cleared as existing. I went along with it up to the point of transfer and he then became pressing and agitated.

Text Message claimed to be missed delivery with a link to Evrie imitation site. Asks for your details on first page including date of birth then on next page says there is a small redelivery charge for new time slot and asks for credit card details. Beware, all the makings of a scam to get your card details.

SPAM - Pre recorded message, "I have been told you have been in a car accident.......... blah blah blah". Trouble is, with a pre recorded, you can't even tell them to go away GRRRRRRR.

This number has been used by a scam artist claiming to be selling puppies - the names given have been Corey Logan, or Kirev Caulfield

Full handset displayed number 000918045705737. Claimed my debit card had been hacked and debited £600. Provided options 1 or 2 to pursue further. I rang off and checked bank account. No sign of transaction. Scam till proved otherwise.

This number with these +44 7572 920739, +44 7451 208465 runs same scam from South East London. Don't fall for any of their tricks. I am getting more info to track them down.

They 'sell' unnecessary appliance insurance such as TV or washing machine cover, household wiring cover, and boiler cover, often at extortionate amounts higher than cost of replacement of appliance for new. Once they have your bank or card details, they set you up for additional policies you didn't want, often for appliances you don't even own. I doubt there's actually any cover in place. Call starts by automated voice thanking me for the purchase of an Iphone for over £700.00 via amazon and then telling you its coming soon and if you did not make the purchase to enter details. Clearly a scam as I did not order anything. My Amazon account is not compromised. Just evil scammers trying to get your banking details. Beware that number!
