I m receiving calls from Red Star Financial Management on a weekly basis now. Often twice a week. It s the usual robocalls: My phone rings (either my landline of my smartphone), I answer it, a recorded voice comes on to say, "Please wait while an adviser attends your call", and most times some poor young loser introducing him or herself from Red Star Financial Management asks questions about a bank loan I may have taken out in the 17th century. Other times there is complete silence when I answer the phone,

An male idiot called me to follow up on a brochure I had ordered. I told him I previously did arrange for a home visit and these planks cancelled it at 2 hours notice citing a broken down car. I told him that this was a lame excuse - hadn’t they heard of car hire? He kept saying “ we can foretell a breakdown” repeatedly! I hung up on first and they called from different location. Claim they are registered, but the compnay was dissolved in 2021, could not provdie website or further ifformation about when they compnay was set up.

These guys called me about 'a recent car crash you have had' - ignore!
Called my elderly grandad just now (isn?t the first time). He couldn?t understand him so passed the phone to me. An Indian man calling from ?Remote Security? and enquiring about a ?computer or laptop in your house? I told him we didn?t have either and he carried on trying to talk, so I repeated that we didn?t have either and to not call again and he hung up. Expecting a call again tomorrow as that?s what happened last time I told them not to call

I did not answer this call - too busy - but when I checked later I learned from another site that the criminals were at work again, pretending to be from Talk Talk and claiming there was an internet problem. Their only aim is to dangerously infect computers and steal information.

Two calls to my work phone from this number in the last week. I missed them both and no message was left. Google tells me the 0390 prefix is only used for fake numbers so putting this one in the annoying "spam" category.
