Having received two missed calls I decided to call back. It's just O2 checking if I wanted to upgrade, and the person I got through to was quite polite.
Got a missed call from this number, rang back from my work phone and it goes straight into music, so no idea who it is but looks like a scammer!
Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). Threatened to block my connection. I told him where to go and hung up. He called back three times in a different voice and got told again where to go! One of many scammers trying the same old gag. This number rang my mobile phone this morning. I didn't answer as I don't answer numbers that I do not recognize. Then I ran a search and found all these notifications of it being, AS I SUSPECTED, a scam number. Needless to say, I won't be ringing them back!
Caller said they were from Admiral calling about a recent car incident. Seriously, why are they calling me on a Sunday to discuss this when they should be speaking directly to my insurance provider?
