SCAMCalled to say the phone was going to be disconnected.
Answered within two rings, lots of call centre type noise in the background. The call was terminated by them as soon as I said hello.

Insurance. Very suspicious. The caller claimed to be calling about renewal of an insurance policy on my washing machine. He sounded convincing until he said he wanted to confirm my bank details. I asked him to tell me what details he had and he said he didn't have that information and wanted me to give them to him. Naturally, I refused to do this and he quickjy terminated the conversation. This is probably an attempted fraud.
