Car accident
got called by this number on my mobile. No one ever calls on my mobile, except this number. I did make an insurance claim 2 years ago after someone dented a rental car I took out in Aus and didn't leave any contact details. Insurance company & Aus rental car company had my mobile number and these calls started 3 months after the prang, so I suspect my details were sold - probably by the insurance company to recoup their losses (I understand they do that sort of thing).
Two silent calls ( one with about six seconds of breathing heard in the background) this morning. One at 08.45 the next at 10.40 from this number. No speech and then cut off call.. Very annoying.

Called with message about unauthorized payment from my debit card, if it wasn't you press 1. I did out of interest. Spoke with a man with Indian accent. He knew my name and surname which is highly unnerving. He said a payment of £900 and something pounds had been taken from my debit card. I replied "oh no, it wasn't me, can you help me?". He said yes, he needed some information. I asked which bank debit card? He said Amazon then hung up. Seriously!
Some company - I rung back because initially it looked like a local call - no idea why they called - bloody nuisance callers should be ashamed of themselves... :/
