Called this number back & she claimed to be from HMRC who apparently have served me with two warrants around miscalculation of Tax. They apparently called at my home on two occasions during lockdown when I was home and not allowed to leave me house. She was very plausible, giving me a name, badge number and warrant ref numbers. The companies don’t "get" your number, they just block-dial numbers until they get a ring tone so TPS and ex-directory numbers do not offer any protection.

Quite clearly an Ambulance Chaser allegedly from National Accident Investigation saying that I had an accident which was not my fault. Where do they get their information and why is it that the Information Commissions Office does not stamp out these nuisance calls.
