I managed to keep this caller on the line for about 10 minutes. I was told they were to help with Windows problems. I asked for an address and was given 15 Victoria Street London. The helpline number is 0800 031 4414. The first person was female with a foreign accent and mentioned Las Vegas USA then South East Asia and India when I asked where their base was. Call center Pertaining to be from Whoopsie.co.uk. Another boiler maintenance company. They actually seem to be a legitimate firm offering alternative boiler maintenance contract as insurance brokers.. However, I am already with British Gas and have no problems with them and also 7 month left on the contract. Rather pushy sales rep who insinuated I had wasted 20 minutes of her time. In that case, job done at this end I would say.

SCAM Received a call apparently from O2 asking if my phone service was good. I said it was fine and hung up. Almost immediately after I received a warning from O2 by text: *SECURITY WARNING* The one-time code you requested will arrive shortly. If someone's calling you and asking for a code, please end the call because they DO NOT work for O2. If you suspect fraud, call us on 202 so we can protect your account. Soon after a code came from O2. This suggests the caller was trying to access my account.

SUPER RUDE human being - and I use the term loosely. Has been rude, aggressive, and generally made a twit of himself to most of my colleagues. Apparently he is calling back tomorrow "before time runs out" on whatever it is he won t tell me about.
