Called 5 times in the span of 15 minutes, the first 3 leaving long voicemails of silence. Likely a spam caller trying to find out if your phone number is actively used, so they can send it on to more spam callers.

Indian guy calling himself David, claiming to be calling from Curry's with a promotional offer. I didn't wait to find out what, I've had several "Manchester based" calls recently all offering promotional offers. They are a real nuisance. I just keep blocking them.

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. This is a scammer's number. They claimed to be from EE accounts department to say my last 2 payments have not been made via debit order and could I press 1 to update my account details. He was very insistent that I do it right now or my account would be closed my phone cut and costly penalties incurred. I hung up as I am not and never have been with EE.

Junk, text for someone else, something about BPO.. I've had the same message from several different numbers, blocked them and then it comes from another number.
Hi Everyone. I wasn't sure whether this message was spam or not, so I rang up Causeway Hospital switchboard and discovered that it was 100% genuine. They put me through to the Validation Team and they had all my details and these were correct. The appointment had been made 2 years ago, so that's why I wasn't sure about it (basically, due to this long covid-related delay, I'd forgotten all about seeing my GP back then and being referred on).
Received on my mobile twice in quick succession. Number unknown to me, so did not answer. No voicemail left so assume this was a sales/spam call. similar number 07711271806 tried again today. According to map location both calls originated from the same place, a few miles South East of Great Mitton. Number originates from O2 system.
