I received 3 calls in a day. I Googled the number and saw this and other threads. The girl said she was called Sophie Joyce (surname given after I questioned her for it) and the company she was working for was Outspire Insource on behalf of EE. Started trying to sell me some new deals. I revealed that I had Googled the number and had read that a number of people had posted to say it was a scam. Claims to be from BT internet and says your internet has been hacked. Will spend over a hour with you on the phone getting you to check your internet security, but while you are doing this they are hacking into your internet and taking all the money from your bank and putting it into a western union account! They cleared my bank account

They claimed they were updating their work records and said I had been working in the industrial sector. "Nope". And that I ve worked with tools and machinery. "Nope". I told them they shouldn t have my number and she beat a hasty retreat.
