I received a call from 02039587974 telling me they are calling from London County Court and that I have had a tax fraud case against me. They asked if I was able to make a £1198.00 payment so prevent my car being seized and sending the police out, whilst I was on the phone they tried to convince me they are calling from London Central count and asked me to google the number and rang me from the same central London county court number to assure me. I rang London court to confirm and told me it was not them

It is definitely a phishing attempt. I got a landline message as did a colleague. The usual URGENT etc.but I knew that HSBC would not have my work number. Rang First Direct (owned by HSBC). After 5 minutes of checking, they confirmed; 1) They had not called me or left a message with me or with my colleague. 2) They confirmed that 03456 008891 is a scam emanating from India. BEWARE

It's a safe number, I have been called a few times but didn't want to answer and waited for a voicemail which I haven't received so I decided to google the number. It is TRUE it belongs to FRAUD DEPARTMENT ( Lloyds GROUP) But to be sure ALWAYS call the number from the back of your credit/debit card the safest way to get in contact with your bank it is what I did and all been sorted after.

This number shows as International and 01274792012... Said it was a quick survey, I asked where they got my details from and they said public source. They knew my name, address, postcode and phone number. Fairly obvious that they are identifying opportunities for onward selling. I think the only reason I have a home phone these days is for junk/spam calls. Another one for the block list.
