This number rang my landline on both 18 and 19 August. Just rang long enough to get me near the phone, but not long enough to pick up - annoying. When I rang the number (from a safe untraceable mobile) I got the recorded message 'Number not in service' ! At best it's spam - at worst it's fraud, so I'll class it as a scam.
Three calls today, phone put down when challenged. Woman with Asian accent

Claim to be Fonehouse.co.uk, they are not! They are scammers pretending to be them. Not safe, do not share your details!
Just had a call myself on 01604 310447. Record message with an American accent "the number you have dialled is not in service"

introduced herself as from TPS, Telephone protection service and then some scam about attaching a box to line to stop nuisance calls. masquerading as Telephone Preference Service. Why have the police stopped this obvious fraud?

Trying to get me to claim compensation if I had worked in industry, would not give me their address

I rang the number back, automated saying "This is a customer satisfaction survey, if you want to remove your number, type it and press #" - we ll see if that works
Call saying "my name has been reported under a legal case for tax evasion" to press one for more information. Did not do so, obvious scam. TAX SCAM
