Apparently a randomly-dialled nuisance call.

Supposedly Carphone Warehouse but I didn't believe him as a) thought unusual to be coming from a 07909 number and b) sounded more like an outsourced Indian call centre.

Do not answer it s a con . They say you owe tax and threatened you with court order for arrest
rang but no one there. too many of these calls from this number.
Positive number
scam caller about loft insulation. they are using 01020159 with a number of different endings such as 488, 484, 479, 489, 316, 303, 298, 284, 277 and 776 but its usually same guy calling as Chris, Mat or Tom. one website has over 140 complaints from these numbers. reported it to TPS and to Data Commissioners office but as usual they do nothing. suggest block the numbers and treat all calls as dangerous
just called the number back. It's something to do with your mobile contract!!!

They call but never leave a message. The number appears dodgy because you cannot call them back.
Cold call - guess it was a marketing one buit didn t answer as I m at work. Fed up with such calls, they come through even though I ve registered with TPS.
