Automated call claiming to be Visa and checking a transaction.
Scammers pretending to be HMRC, saying arrest warrant issued, phone number disconnected, bank accounts blocked, driving licence & passport cancelled, police on their way to home address (which the scammers don’t know). Do not provide any truthful info - lie as tho your life depends on it (your finances are under threat) as they will try to get you to agree to paying £987.26 (over £1000 gets bank fraud dept involved). Waste their time then tell them where to go...it might stop these lowlifes from gett

I did not believe him. He sent a security code to verify 02 Fraud. code sent in the normal way from O2. He said my address had been changed and he'd sort it He said the fraudsters had no access to bank account and could not verify it and no changes were made.. He said he must freeze my account and post documents I was to ignore texts and emails from o2 The phone went to address in Hackney in my name. Resident confused!. The fraudsters must have watched house for DPD to deliver phone?
Clever professional sales pitch by HELMS for free Solar PV paid for by Government energy grant. Stupidly agreed to consultant visit, but confirmation call from PV Solar in Exeter sounded like it was from unprofessional morons. Called back to tell that not to bother but was met with high pressure sales pitch from the team leader and questioning my reasoning on refusing this deal.
