Claimed to be from O2 and that I was overpaying for my O2 account (I don't use O2). Told me they would offer me a discount with no other changes to be made. Wanted to send a verification number that I was not to share with anyone else "even 02 staff". Hung up when they realised I wasn't falling for it - I strung them along for at least a few minutes.

Called me asking me about my life insurance policy. I asked which one to which they answered the one on your mortgage . Again I asked which one and they hug up... sounded very self assured to this point.
