Call from a telephone blocking service. He asked if I received nuisance calls. I said yes plenty but he didn t understand the irony and pressed on with his script. I asked where he was based. He said 70 Margaret Street London which is the HQ of the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) (Note that the caller was NOT from the TPS). I asked him the name of the nearest underground station at which point he terminated the call.
Called to say have you had an accident in two years. Was it you madam? NO, anyone in your family, NO. They proceeded to hang up - Indian call centre.

This number rang me and woke the house up at 00.45 and the call was silent.
Caller vaguely identifies as from a motor insurance service and refers to the details of a recent accident and car repair. Caller then goes on to attempt to gain further details but becomes persistent when no interest shown in product/service/enquiry. Caller will state that the call is part of a legal duty to follow up. This number is one of many used to telemarket similar products/services.
