Called claiming we have a virus on our router, and it’s being tracked. Obviously a call centre as when I answered no one responded at first and I could hear lots of noise in the background. The woman was speaking very quickly and had a very strong Indian accent, so was difficult to understand.. I hung up, and have blocked the number.
Very dangerous phishing call. Caller with African accent claiming to be from "The Financial Ombudsman". Called repeatedly and demanded a lot of personal information. The number is not listed as a genuine phone number for any ombudsman.

SCAM - standard pre-recorded "you have had two charges on your account..." followed by "Press 1 to cancel etc..." Didn't actually get connected to anyone, but the MO is so obvious

Wife picked up phone but always wary due to my insistence and previous experience; just heard the woman on the other end ask her if she was *name, and asked if she "was the main user of her computer"; at that point, my wife put the phone down with a cursory "Not interested"
