I think the chap said he was calling from Instant Law and was calling about the "not your fault accident claim" in January of lat year. I said he had the wrong number to which he said it might be to do with a window replacement claim. He could not give me a car registration or the name of an insurance company so I told him I couldn't help him. He hung up.

This is a scam from an aggressive Indian pretending to be from BT Open Reach. He hung up when challenged. The real BT say BT Open Reach/Zone is not customer facing and do not call people. If you have call blocking on your telephone you can block the last call by dialling 1572.
I had a missed call from this number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar number called me recently - both the same 016084395xx range, probably the same marketing company? don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active...
