who is this that called me?

I had two garbled messages from this number claiming to be from Hotpoint about my tumble dryer safety repair. I don t have a Hotpoint dryer. I called Hotpoint ( different number) and they said I am not on their database, so they don t know who was calling. My advice would be to call Hotpoint/Indesit direct!

I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. Does this sound strange to anyone else? I said righto mate, "I expect that you will take care of it for me then." - Not a believer.

This is an Accident Claims compensation company, who buy telephone numbers from price comparison websites.

Cold calling is not the way to sell windows or home improvements. Especially when you are a victim of a crime where you re trying to deal with police and a useless phone call from an aggressive cold calling company. I wish people would stop selling other peoples phone numbers.

Bunch of scammers. They claim to be different debt collection companies, from different numbers. Been going on for years. You pick up, the automated call kicks in, leaving a message for someone who doesn t exist. In my case, they are always asking for someone called Mr Paul Roberts. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man.
