It seems to be all sorts of scams, according to reports on other sites - bank account overdraft or debts, deliveries, etc. The variety would suggest it s a prank caller.

PPI claims company. Even after I told them to stop calling me I am still getting 3-4 calls a day from them. Blocking them on my phone just results in them filling up my voicemail.

If anybody gets a call from this number, answer it! Each time they have called it has been Coral and they have given me a £50 free bet each time.

Had a call from this number earlier asking me about the car accident I had and that they d been informed by the RTA association. THE WHO? I ASKED The Road traffic accident association she said. Oh okay so what did they tell you I asked. She said It s about the accident. What one I said as I ve had three this month already. Oh we have only been informed about the first one she said. OK what have they told you then. She replied with, about the accident you had. I then said WELL SOMEONE IS ON A PHIS

I had two garbled messages from this number claiming to be from Hotpoint about my tumble dryer safety repair. I don t have a Hotpoint dryer. I called Hotpoint ( different number) and they said I am not on their database, so they don t know who was calling. My advice would be to call Hotpoint/Indesit direct!

Just got my first one from this number this morning. Before I had chance to open they hung up. Glad I found some info before thinking about ringing them back. I don t know why the authorities don t ban people/companies who do this (i.e. dial and hang up so they will get paid by people trying to call back)
